CHATSWORTH, Calif. — You don’t often see a player score 33 points and look unsatisfied, but Jerzy Robinson isn’t your average high schooler. The Sierra Canyon junior and No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2026 walked off the court at Hoophall Classic with a stat line that would be a career-high for most, yet her focus remained on the ‘L’ in the win-loss column.

Robinson, a physical 6-foot-1 guard, has drawn comparisons to WNBA stars for her ability to absorb contact and finish through traffic. Against a swarm of Long Island Lutheran defenders last week, she was a one-woman wrecking crew, pulling down 12 rebounds to go with her offensive explosion.

“Jerzy doesn’t care about the mixtape highlights,” says an opposing coach from the Mission League. “She plays with a motor that just wears you down. She’s built different.”

With Sierra Canyon navigating a brutal national schedule, Robinson’s leadership is being tested. But if her recent performances are any indication, she is more than ready to carry the load as the Trailblazers eye a run at the Open Division state title.
